Gemini Full Moons Bring Light to the Duality Within Each of Us...
Wednesday’s Full Moon Calls Us to Bring More Balance to Our Minds!
It will test our perception and call us to discern between Illusion and Truth.
Full Moons light up the sky but also bring Light and awareness into depths of our subconscious. A Full Moon occurs when the Moon is directly opposite the Sun. The energy and pull we feel is opposing energy of the two signs, reminding us that life is about balance. With the Moon in Gemini and the Sun in the opposing sign of Sagittarius, we are reminded to balance our logical mind with our Intuitive Wisdom. We are shown where we have Faith and where we experience doubt. It invites us to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves. Gemini is about information, curiosity, communication and our thoughts whereas Sagittarius is about interpretation, understanding and beliefs. How do you balance using your rational mind and your Intuitive Wisdom to resolve current issues? And of course like all Full Moons, it shows us our shadow side. This one will explore the shadow side of our thinking. How much does doubt, self-doubt, anxiety and overwhelm hold you back? ...How much do they hold you in suffering?
Gemini is one of the most social signs and is driven by curiosity. Wednesday's Moon invites us to explore new places and meet new people, to expand the mind and the heart. The more we discover about the world and others the more we "uncover" about ourselves. Gemini Moons typically brings us busy schedules, multi-tasking, social gatherings, parties, good conversations, scattered energy, traffic problems and accidents (oh dear). Enjoy the social aspect the Full Moon brings this holiday week but please use extra caution when driving. The sign Gemini rules the Nervous System, and this Moon can most definitely tax your Nervous System. Simplify as much as possible, keep your thoughts positive and take LOTS of deep breaths. *Don't skip your exercise, get outdoors, go to yoga, go to a breathwork meditation class.*
Full Moons heighten our awareness. This Full Moon meets up with the planet Neptune further heightening our sensitiviities. We can all expect our overall sensitivity to be super charged this week! This includes all sensitivities... meaning, we will also be more sensitive to the environment, food, drugs and alcohol. Please be mindful of this. On a more positive note, this heightened sensitivity also means having easier access to your subconscious mind, your intuition, your creative and imaginative mind. Be sure to find some quiet time to hear your Inner voice as clear and significant insights can be made! This week is ideal for seeing what old baggage (stories, memories, limiting beliefs, fear) from your past you are ready to let go of....creating more space to explore your dreams and visions for 2020!!
There is great power in silence and stillness...it allows us to hear our Inner Voice.
The word “Solstice” comes from the Latin word “solstitium”, meaning “to stand still”. For the 3 days around the Solstice, the Earth’s axial tilt comes to a gravitational pause. This pause or stillness is what we need before we shift directions...it is an indicator that change is ahead of us. This pause creates an energetic portal as there is a reduction of energy to the magnetic field on earth the day before, day of and day after the Solstice (Dec. 20th - 23rd)). This energetic portal forges an opening to the comsos. Solstices mark a time of endings and New Beginnings. They can bring us separations as well as losses and gains. Most definitely they are a potent time for change. These 3 days (Dec. 21, 22, 23) are an extra powerful time for setting intentions, meditation, creativity, intuition, ceremonies and prayer! Pray! Pray Pray!
On Friday December 21st the Sun enters the sign of Capricorn. We will begin a new astrological month and a new season! On this day we experience the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and the longest day in the Southern Hemisphere. For centuries the Winter Solstice has been celebrated with great joy as it marks the turning point where our days begin to get longer again! The lengthening of the days symbolizes our growing awareness of our True Self, and the Light inside of us. On December 22nd Haukkah, The Celebration of Light begins. Hanukkah reminds us of the importance of Light...OUR LIGHT! Light represents the holiness within us. It takes only one small Light (the Light within YOU) to dominate darkness. The Winter Solstice, also known as the “Return of the Light” celebrates the Sun’s rebirth and renewal...a perfect lead up to the holiday festivities and the coming of the New Year!
Even if you don't celebrate Hanukkah, the Stars are encouraging us all to shine our Inner Light. Do what Lights you up...smile more, be your true Self, be kind, talk to strangers, practice gratitude, compliment others. Know that you will be in turn bringing much needed Light to those around you!
Lots of Love and Light Your Way!
