Astrology reminds that we are each unique while at the same time connected.  We all share the common purpose... TO EVOLVE! Another word for Evolution is GROWTH. We must constantly remind ourselves that CHANGE is the necessary catalyst for GROWTH. Think about it, if you only spoke and listened to English, you would not learn another language {Mental Growth}. If you are inactive, your muscles will not become stronger or more flexible {Physical Growth}. Life is about getting out of our comfort zone... if we don't have uncomfortable experiences testing our Faith, we won't be challenged to strengthen our Faith {Spiritual Growth}.

We have all been "stretched" in some way this year, encouraging us to become more flexible and adaptable.  We have all been challenged, calling us to become stronger. We have all had an opportunity to witness our level of Faith and be Inspired to take it to the next level. Whether 2022 felt like a yin yoga class, boot camp or full on battle (sending love to you)- you have been invited to grow, expand and take steps toward healing, becoming WHOLE and ultimately becoming the Optimal Version of yourself. 

 

Each Cosmic Event Invites Us to Make Necessary Adjustments Before We Can Successfully Up-Level!

 

FULL MOON in GEMINI
Full Moons Shine a Light onto Darkness, so we can clearly see what was previously hidden. This week's Gemini Full Moon highlights the Power of our Thoughts.  It is Shining a Light on where we need less speaking & more LISTENING, less information & more WISDOM, less judgment & more ACCEPTANCE. It invites us to balance our Head and our Heart.  Do you waver between over-thinking (head) and being over-reactive (heart)?  This Full Moon encourages us to open up the 5th Chakra (Throat), and allow the Channel to flow freely between the Head & the Heart.  How can you think and speak more compassionately?

FULL MARS!
This particular Full Moon is jacked up as the Moon is exactly conjunct the Planet Mars (in Retrograde) at 16° Gemini.  This means we are not only having a Full Moon this week... we are having a FULL MARS!!!  A Full Moon Conjunct Mars stokes, and provokes anger. *TAKE 3 DEEP BREATHS... We will be more prone to emotional reactivity; defensiveness, impatience irritability and anger.  Positively, this aspect also feeds our Passion & Courage to take steps forward on our Soul's Journey. With Mars in Retrograde, we have an opportunity to re-visit, resolve and release any buried anger, resentments and fears. Releasing old anger and resentments makes room for more Passion, Courage & LOVE!  Suppressed Mars energy (anger) is associated with specific health issues; headaches, adrenal glands, depression, arthritis & accidents. If feeling agitated this week, consider reflecting and working with this energy rather than feeding the anger and fear. Do not hesitate to reach out for support, assistance or counsel. This is a super potent time to make progress here and get unstuck! 

CAPRICORN SOLSTICE
On December 21st at 1:48 pm PT, the Sun moves into Capricorn, marking the Winter Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere (Summer Solstice in the South).  The Winter Solstice is the original Celebration of the Return of the Light as it marks when the days begin to get longer here in the Northern Hemisphere. The word “Solstice” comes from the Latin word “solstitium”, meaning “to stand still”.  For the 3 days around the Solstice, the Earth’s axial tilt comes to a gravitational pause.  This pause or stillness is what we need before we shift directions... it is an indicator that change is ahead of us.  This pause creates an energetic portal as there is a reduction of energy to the magnetic field on earth the day before, day of and day after the Solstice (Dec. 20th - 22nd).  This energetic portal forges an opening to the Cosmos.  These 3 days (Dec. 20, 21 & 22) are an extra powerful time for setting intentions, meditation, creativity, intuition, ceremonies and prayer!  Pray! Pray Pray! 

The 2 weeks following the Full Moon are the optimal time to release, let go and dissolve what we no longer wish to carry. Divinely, the Full Moon highlights to us what that may be.  This week's FULL MOON/FULL MARS initiates opportunities to go deeper, on a more Karmic level. 

The Cosmic energy this week culminates much of what has been brewing all year in the Stars;

1. The Necessity of Development!  We are experiencing a time of accelerated change~ inviting accelerated growth. Resisting change and growth is called SABOTAGE. The Eclipses this year in Taurus/Scorpio brought change, invited us to explore our Shadow preparing us to make major Up-grades.

2. KNOW YOUR TRUE SELF! We cannot hide from who we are. In fact, this is where our Power is.  When so many of our external circumstances are out of our control... remind yourself what you CAN do. Become more involved with your INTERNAL environment. Expressing your true Self is how you Light up! Choose Love, Kindness, Forgiveness & Compassion... this keeps your Inner Flame Shining Bright.

3. Spiritual Enlightenment is much like the Pureness of the Child's Mind.  This Moon reminds us to relish Joy and the simple things in life. Can you enter a new experience with the innocence and excitement of a child? Pause to enjoy your surroundings like a child does; seeing the moon, a sunset, a flower, a baby, a puppy, a smiling face, the scent of fresh snow or rain, seeing a friend.

We are all on this Journey of Evolution together.  Yes, Development is key and much of this work is uncomfortable, requiring focus, reflection, insight and courage.  Our Journey called "life" is not meant to be all serious and difficult... we are also meant to experience Joy & Bliss along our Path.
