The Moon Report
Libra Super New Moon!!
Saturday September 28th- 11:26 am PDT
Sunday September 29th - October 1st
It's time to initiate an upgrade in your Relationships!
New Moons mark a new cycle and a New Beginning. Each month we are given this magical opportunity to slow down, reflect, re-evaluate and re-set. In our fast paced, multi-tasking world it is SO important to slow down occasionally to check in with ourselves. This weekend's New Moon is the 3rd of 3 Super (Perigee) New Moons in a row. A Moon is considered Perigee when it is significantly closer to Earth than usual. This proximity creates an intensified gravitational pull on both the Earth (tectonic plates & tides) and our emotional bodies. During Super Moons the ocean's tides will be more extreme... notice how your physical energy and moods peak and fall as well.
With the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus all in the sign of Libra this week, RELATIONSHIPS, all relationships come into focus. Saturday's New Moon may bring sudden changes, endings and openings for New Beginnings. These unexpected changes will encourage us to do things differently, to make adjustments, upgrades or perhaps even a total remodel in our relationships. Our relationships (parents, siblings, friends, acquaintances, romantic & business) are our greatest teachers, they act as a mirror for us to see developing parts of ourselves. Our biggest learning in relationships is that another person cannot make us feel whole... or unworthy.
"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Elenor Roosevelt
Libra is commonly associated with the symbol of the Scales, reminding us of our Spiritual Quest for Balance and Peace. All things are changing, as change is a constant...even in relationships. As we continue to evolve, expand, grow and change, things naturally get out of balance, a New Moon in Libra reminds us of the Law of Balance. Our needs and desires will always continue to evolve and change. How do you balance your needs with the needs of others? As we "personally" grow, we outgrow our boundaries. A new born's boundaries are different than a child's which is different than an adult. How healthy are your personal boundaries? Where do you need to draw the line? Saturday's New Moon reminds us to bring Healing and Harmony in our relationships. The more of our past that we can let go of and forgive, the more gracefully we can move forward in our lives, particularly when it comes to relationships. What can you do this week to create more harmony in the relationships in your life? As you work to create more love and peacefulness in your life, notice where you need to step into that "uncomfortable" zone by maybe opening your heart a little bit more and creating more intimacy and aliveness in your life.
Where we need to change and grow will become more clear with this Libra New Moon!
We cannot change or heal the things we cannot see. We can expect the unexpected this Lunar Cycle (Sept. 28- Oct. 27)! Trust that the month will show you new options, ways of doing things- options that you did not see before.
This Libra New Moon is exactly halfway between the July Solar Eclipse and the upcoming December 25th Solar Eclipse. In addition, we are all at a major turning point as the Earth now rounds its final bend in its annular cycle around the Sun. Are you ready to enter the 3rd quarter of the calendar year? Think back to January 2019. What was going on in your life in January? What Intentions, goals and changes were at the forefront? How far have you come along? What was going on for you throughout the month of July with our two Eclipses? This New Moon is a potent time to become clear on the destined transitions you are moving through this year.
We just began a New Season and for many we are about to begin a New Year! Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New year arrives annually on a New Moon. Rosh Hashanah literally means "the head of the year" or the beginning of the year. It celebrates the beginning of creation. What are you ready to clear? What are you ready to create? The months and years keep going by so quickly, reminding us that life is short.... don't wait any longer!!!
