WAKE UP EVERYONE!!! No falling asleep at the wheel! Yep… I said it last year and it is worth repeating. We are approaching THE AGE OF AQUARIUS and a Grand Awakening for us all! But, we are not quite ready yet.  2024 was a year of “Refinement” for all of us, the Cosmos highlighted to us the clearing, prep work and tasks that needed to be taken care of. This year the Cosmos will continue to bombard us with reminders that we have very little control of our outer world. The Stars are working together to breakdown our false illusions... Illusions of Control, Illusions of Safety, Illusions in our Relationships, Beliefs and WHO WE are! With the Sun in Leo this month, we are reminded to Shine our Light, express ourselves & open our hearts.

Mars Opposite to Saturn & Neptune August 7-10. (EXACT Aug 8-9):
Are you feeling unusually tired, sensitive and foggy?  Before I talk about the Full Moon, I want to address this transit. Mars opposes Neptune every 2 1/2 years, and this is a transit that feels like a weighted blanket. If you allow yourself to rest, it can feel wonderful and comforting. But if you are trying to keep up to your usual pace it can feel frustrating, exhausting and potentially lead to sickness. This transit heightens our sensitivity (alcohol, drugs, food, people, environment), so mind your exposure. This is a wonderful transit to connect with your Intuition, Visions, Dreams and Insight. Normally, Full Moon energy boosts our physical energy, this one definitely has some slowing down energy. 

Aquarius Full Moon August 9th:
This week's Full Moon has the Sun in Leo opposing the Moon in Aquarius. Aquarius is the Archetype of the "Awakened Mind". Leo symbolizes the "Awakened Heart". These 2 energies together give us the Clarity to clearly see our True Identity (Light AND Shadow). This Full Moon encourages us to STEP INTO our Authentic Self~ who we truly are!  Full Moons shine a Light on the Shadow patterns that need to be addressed. Patterns that may be showing up for you this week; feeling a lack of acknowledgment/appreciation, difficulty accessing Joy or Grief, feeling like an outsider (not belonging), entitlement, trouble accepting change and feeling your Freedom restricted.

To positively work with this energy~ Think of ways you can connect with your Heart & Heart Chakra;

• Gratitude Practice... A MUST!! And include Self-Gratitude.

• Give hugs!

• Play, dance, sing, do something creative!

• Bodywork, breath-work, heart-opening yoga. 

• Consider using an affirmation around Love and Trust. "I am Trusting my Loving Essence." "I am beginning to open my heart to receive Love."

Opening the Heart Dissolves the Shadow of both Leo & Aquarius!

 

Lion's Gate Portal &  Perseids
Every August 8th the Earth aligns with the Star Sirius creating a very auspicious event called "The Lion's Gate Portal".  It is in close alignment July 28 - Aug. 12. This alignment coincides each year with the Perseids Meteor Showers bringing extra Magic to the week.  Sirius is the brightest Star in the sky and is more than twice the size of our Sun.  Sirius was considered the most important Star in ancient Egypt, with Sirius Rising marking the beginning of their New Year. Sirius is from the Universe just beyond our Solar System, it is called the Sirius System where the Planets revolve around Sirius. Ancient cultures considered Sirius to be our "Spiritual Sun."

There is always a great deal of Hype around the Lion's Gate Portal.
I caution having Expectations (the shadow of Leo).  Remember, Manifestation is reflected from the energy within us (Both Light & Shadow).

The Sun rules the sign Leo & August 8th is the EXACT mid-point of the Leo month.  August 8th in numerals is 8-8.  Eight is considered the luckiest number in Numerology as it represents infinity, abundance and prosperity. 8-8 is believed by many to be the luckiest day of the year!  Observing and celebrating the Earth's alignment with Sirius on August 8th has occurred for many centuries.  The Lion's Gate Portal is believed to create openings to the Cosmos for releasing, receiving downloads and manifesting.  This week is an ideal time to pray, meditate, create, spend time in nature, listen, write and connect with the Stars!

The next Full Moon will be a TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE! We are already feeling the tailwinds of the next Eclipse Season!  This Full Moon will be stage setting for the next couple of months of change. Aquarius energy works as a catalyst for change. What sparks, signs, messages are coming through this week? How are you feeling about changes coming ahead?

This weekend's Full Moon reminds us to balance the Heart with the Mind. This connection will give us the clarity and confidence in moving forward. When we connect with our Hearts, we find our Courage~ we will face our fears, dissolving the power they have over us... ultimately giving us the Freedom to Create, experience Joy and continue on our Destined Paths.
